TRITOP is an optical coordinate measuring machine.

This mobile technology is designed to define the exact 3D position of markers and visible features and offers time effective on-site measurement for

  • Quality control of large objects
  • Verification of jigs and fixtures
  • Static deformation analysis

TRITOP is used to predefine the reference markers on large or complex objects to support high accuracy digitizing using the ATOS 3D digitizer.

The TRITOP CMM module measures the coordinates for any feature of interest and allows for

  • CAD comparison
  • Verification of shape and position tolerances
  • Verification of specifications from drawings, files or tables

The TRITOP deformation module allows capturing multiple load situations from an object. From the displacement of the markers and the features, the movement and the deformation of the corresponding object is defined.

 

 

ATOS is the high-end 3D Digitizer.

This flexible optical measuring machine is based on the principle of triangulation. Projected fringe patterns are observed with two cameras. 3D coordinates for each camera pixel are calculated with high precision, a polygon mesh of the object’s surface is generated.
