Apprenticeship / die – maker support: Begin with a team of 8 highly experienced die makers (1 working die leader) and one project manager to support the Magna die shop and support the apprenticeship program. Increase resources as necessary (not to exceed 16); Gradually decrease resources to zero as the skill level of the Magna die makers improves. Magna die-makers and IIE die-makers work side-by-side to maximize learning and work efficiency.
Maintain all production tools / Incorporate Engineering Changes
Establish baselines (current status) and identify all significant contributors to quality, downtime and cost.
Reduce tool & die related downtime, cost and improve quality.
Metal Savings Programs (according to the needs of the clients EMM)
Continuously monitor and record apprentices progress using the Infinity Web System
Continuously monitor tools and identify farther improvement opportunities.
Utilize advanced technologies such as 3D scanning and the Argus Formability System for root cause analysis and continuous process improvements.
Provide engineering support and support with tooling specialists as needed
